Vanya Hampel joined Proctor & Associates in 2004 as an employed
solicitor, and is now a Senior Associate of the firm.
Vanya completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Technology,
Sydney. She completed part of this degree overseas where she won a scholarship
to study Law at Westminster University, in London for a year. In addition, Vanya
has a Diploma in Criminal Psychology, which she obtained from University of
Sydney, and also has an advanced certificate in Mediation and Dispute
Resolution.
Since completing her qualifications, she has had the opportunity to work within
a number of different organisations, most recently as a Prosecution Officer at
the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Vanya has had a range of legal experience including: human rights, criminal law,
family law, telecommunications law, immigration and citizenship, and has
represented clients in the Local, District, Family, Federal Magistrates and
Supreme Court of NSW.
Her background in criminal prosecution and qualifications provide her with an
insight into both sides of the criminal law. In addition her experience in
dispute resolution enables her to resolve family law matters in the interests of
clients, without having to resort to in court litigation saving time and money.
However, when agreement between parties can not be reached her passionate
approach in court ensures that clients will have someone who will go into battle
for them.
Her experience and dedication to clients makes her well suited to the firm and
in providing a variety of legal related services.
